Ammenities at
The Old Homestead
Bed & Breakfast
Awake to the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked whole-grain breads.
Breakfast may be French toast made with
our maple walnut bread and served with real Vermont maple
syrup, sausage, and apples.
Or perhaps try our spinach and mushroom
quiche made with Vermont Cabot cheeses, served with our own
cinnamon raisin toast and apricot bread, or try our other
savory surprises.
We use many local products and foods, organic where possible, and we also cater tospecial needs diets such as gluten free, egg free, or vegetarian when requested.

Enjoy special afternoon refreshments
or, if you prefer, take advantage of our kitchenette stocked
with coffee, tea, soda, fruit, and other treats at your
leisure. |
Our Gardens and patio are abundant
with color for your peaceful enjoyment. They also provide fresh organically grown berries and veggies for the table in season. I take little credit for the gardens which are tended with love by daughter Linda and nearly three year old grandson Bohdi. |

Enjoy biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing,
swimming, snowmobiling, X-country and downhill skiing, all
near by. Also antiquing, the arts, shopping, and leaf peeping!
If you would like to kayak or canoe on one of the country's most beautiful and pristine rivers, the Connecticut, this can be pre-arranged through a newly formed local service.

The Rose Garden room is 'child friendly' with plenty of stuffed animals, books and toys. We also have a pack-and-play and a high chair for your convenience.
